Traditional surgeon's chairs with backrests provide little or no support for forward-leaning posture. Advantage Ergonomic Surgeon's Chair gives surgeons exactly what they need - a wraparound adjustable body support and a tilting seat properly position and support the body in a forward-leaning position.

Cushioned seat tilts forward to restore natural curve of the lumbar spine and prevent excess pressure on the underside of the thighs. Degree of tilt can be changed and set to surgeon preference by means of a hand adjustable screw located underneath the front of the seat.

Body support swings out at an angle from the seat. It can be covered with standard Mayo drape for sterile field. In normal operation the body support can be swung in toward the body but not away. To swing the body support away, simply depress the pad above the "sure-lock" clutch mechanism.

Fully padded 23 ½"L elbow rests provide additional support for the upper body, shoulders, neck and arms.
